| | Our family estate covers a total of 28 hectares of which grape is grown on 18 hectares. Varieties include Italian Riesling (5.3 ha), Chardonnay (8.2 ha), Rhine Riesling (4.8 ha), Savignon Blanc (3.8 ha), Merlot (1.9) and some Hungarian specialities like Kiralyleanyka and Irsai Oliver. Most of the vine-growing area is located around Balatonboglar, on the slopes of Somogy Hills. Somogy the first county to be endowed with a coat of arms depicting a knight's arm holding a bunch of grapes has been a traditional vine growing area since Roman times. The high lime and clay-content soil of the well protected, warm slopes yield matured, fruity wines with a balanced flavour.
Our most significant plantations are located in the villages of Szőlőskislak and Szőlősgyörök. Our main objective is to produce wines embodying the harmony between natural values conscious and accountable human efforts. | | |
